My Facelift Journey in Tijuana – Surgery Day is Here!
Feb 05, 2025

Checked In and Ready for Surgery
I’ve officially checked into the hospital in Tijuana for my facelift tomorrow morning! After losing 120 pounds through weight loss surgery, I’ve undergone skin removal with the same doctor, Dr. Medina. Now, it’s time for the next step in my transformation.
What’s Being Done?
I’ll be getting excess skin removed from my face and neck. The procedure is expected to last about five hours—less complex than my skin removal surgery but still a major operation. This time, I’ll be under general anesthesia instead of an epidural, and I’ll likely only need strong over-the-counter pain medication for recovery.
What to Expect Post-Surgery
I’ll be wearing a compression band around my head for about two weeks. Dr. Medina answered all my questions in a 20-minute consultation today, which I recorded and will edit for you all soon.
Since I have a strong glasses prescription and can’t wear contacts for a few days, you might not see much content from me until I’m able to see properly again. If I’m offline, just know I’m recovering!
Excited, Nervous, and Ready!
Tomorrow is the big day, and I’m feeling all the emotions—excited, nervous, but mostly eager to share this journey with you all. Stay tuned for updates on my facelift transformation!
